Financial services consultancy Simplify Consulting has made several appointments to its wealth division, alongside the appointment of Louise Greig to the newly created position of chief operating officer.
Starting in September 2025, Greig join will join from Premier Miton Investors where she spent six years serving as the director of customer operations, helping shape the firm’s investor servicing strategy and overseeing key regulatory functions. Prior to this, she held senior positions at Deloitte, FNZ, Citibank, and Standard Life. Alongside Greig, Simplify Consulting has hired Nick Clarke as director of its wealth practice, together with Rachel Allen as lead consultant. Andy Greenfield will also join Simplify on a permanent basis as a lead consultant, having been working as an associate at Simplify since December 2024. Clarke has more than 25 years of experience in business transformation and wealth management, and previously work as head of business transformation for the Alpine formula one team. Allen has over 25 years’ experience in financial services, most recently at M&G where she was platform transformation director. Greenfield was previously head of PMO at Quilter, as well as programme manager at Zurich Insurance Company.
Investment manager 7IM has appointed Nick Allen to the newly created role of chief integration officer.
Allen brings more than 30 years of experience in financial services to the role. He has joined from Schroders Personal Wealth, where he was chief operating officer, and has previously held several senior leadership positions, including chief operating officer, group transformation at Lloyds Banking Group. Reporting directly to 7IM CEO, Dean Proctor, Allen will support the onboarding and harmonisation of recent and future acquisitions. In particular, he will drive alignment of propositions, capabilities and processes across the recently acquired firms. Allen will also be responsible for exploring new solutions that can be integrated into 7IM’s proposition and capabilities to drive better outcomes and experiences to clients.
The board of Evelyn Partners has announced the appointment of Sean Hagerty as an independent non-executive director.
Hagerty is an experienced senior executive in the financial services industry, whose career has spanned chief executive positions, senior strategy roles, product development, sales and marketing. He spent 27 years at the Vanguard Group, latterly serving as managing director and head of Vanguard Europe for eight years before stepping down in December 2024. He has also served on the FCA Practitioner Panel, the HM Treasury Asset Management Taskforce, and was vice chair of the board of the Investment Association. Prior to joining Vanguard, Sean worked for PNC Bank and Peat, Marwick Mitchell & Co (now KPMG).
